Dr. Nyangon gave a panel presentation on "Delivering Sustainability Goals in Manufacturing Through IoT" at the IoT DaySlam 2023 conference.

Session Abstract:

Sustainability has shifted from a buzzword to a strategic imperative for the manufacturing industry. As companies seek to implement solutions that eliminate, reduce, avoid, and offset sources impacting their regional or global footprints, they will look to IoT solutions to measure, manage and modify processes and process settings. In a world of sustainable manufacturing, companies will seek ways to optimize production processes and techniques, increase energy efficiency, and reduce the amount of pollution, emission, and waste generated in their plant sites. In this fireside chat at the IoTDaySlam23, we will explore real-world examples of the current and future of sustainability in manufacturing.
