Dr. Nyangon Elected Senior Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)

Dr. Joe Nyangon has been recognized as a Senior Member by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the world’s largest association for technical professionals.

The award recognizes scientists, engineers, and educators who’ve made significant achievements over at least five years. Realization of this grade requires extensive experience and reflects professional maturity and documented achievements of significance. Fewer than 10 percent of the IEEE’s more than 400,000 members worldwide and only only 14% of IEEE Power & Energy Society members have the distinction of being a senior member, the organization’s second-highest rank.
