OGEES Institute Welcomes Dr. Nyangon as Visiting Research Fellow

The Institute for Oil, Gas, Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development (OGEES Institute), Afe Babalola University, Nigeria, is pleased to announce that Dr. Nyangon has been joined the Institute as a Visiting Research Fellow, following an invitation by the Institute’s Director, Prof. Damilola S. Olawuyi, SAN.

OGEES Institute is an international, non-profit, university-centered research institute established in 2012 to address critical research, capacity development, and policy gaps in the sustainable management of natural resources, the environment, and conflict resolution in Nigeria and across Africa. Founded through a professorial endowment by Aare Afe Babalola CON, SAN, LL.D., the Institute is Nigeria’s first pioneering sustainable development research and training institute of its kind.

Through its three-fold mandate of research, capacity building, and public dialogue, OGEES informs and influences investment and policy decisions in oil and gas, mining, energy, environmental governance, climate change, and sustainable development.

Dr. Nyangon’s appointment strengthens the Institute’s growing community of distinguished scholars and practitioners working to translate Africa’s natural resource wealth into inclusive growth, environmental protection, and resilient communities.
