Dr. Nyangon Joins Johns Hopkins ISEP as Non-Resident Fellow
Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) named Dr. Nyangon a Non-Resident Fellow of the Initiative for Sustainable Energy Policy (ISEP). In this role, Dr. Nyangon will contribute to research and policy solutions addressing one of the most urgent global challenges: delivering sustainable energy access while minimizing environmental impact.
With one billion people still lacking electricity and clean cooking fuels, and emerging economies bearing the brunt of climate change and air pollution, innovative approaches to energy policy are more critical than ever. Dr. Nyangon brings expertise in sustainable development and energy policy to ISEP’s mission of promoting economic growth that is both equitable and environmentally responsible.
ISEP is a cutting-edge research collective at Johns Hopkins University, applying social and behavioral science to identify and test effective policies for the global energy transition. Its work focuses on three central goals: maximizing impact, advancing justice, and supporting sustainable growth.
Through this fellowship, Dr. Nyangon will collaborate with leading researchers to design solutions that expand energy access, reduce environmental harm, and support resilient, inclusive development.
Dr. Nyangon’s fellowship highlights a shared commitment to addressing climate challenges while fostering global economic and social progress.
